Legionella Control
Legionella bacteria occurs naturally in the mains water supply. Generally they will be at a low level.
However man-made conditions in buildings such as warm water temperatures (between 20-45C), food sources (corrosion products), and shelter (biofilm), will allow the bacteria to multiply. Legionella bacteria from a shower or high pressure tap, where an aerosol is created, can infect a person, particularly if they are vulnerable, causing Legionnaires’ Disease.
Our products will help to control bacteria including Legionella and Pseudomonas within water systems.
