Pulsed Water Meter 1″ Connections
The pulsed water meter is part of the equipment required to accurately dose Huwa-San TR-50 to the mains water supply.
Other sizes of water meter are available where required.
It is important to place the water meter into a plastic bypass so that it can be easily removed for maintenance. The injection point of the pump should also be placed in this bypass. This ensures that neat chemical does not come into contact with copper pipework.
How it works
The pulsed water meter works in conjunction with the HC200+ dosing pump which will dose the Huwa-San TR-50 proportionally to the measured flow rate. Ideal for tank or mains water systems. The flying lead from the water meter will send a signal to the dosing pump then the pump doses a small amount of chemical depending on it’s setting. This system provides excellent control for the constant dosing of Huwa-San TR-50.
Huwa-San TR-50 is used, via constant dosing, for legionella control as an alternative to temperature. Temperatures of water systems are reduced saving energy and money whilst remaining legionella free. The low level of disinfectant to helps to keep it clean.
However please be aware in hospitals that constant dosing can be used as a secondary method of legionella control but temperature control must remain in place.
