Central Heating Cleaner Rad-X (1 litre)
SafeSol, central heating cleaner Rad-X, is an excellent product for use in domestic systems. It is a mix of chelants, dispersants and surfactants which are designed to remove light corrosion deposits and scale.
Dosing Central Heating Cleaner Rax-X
Prior to cleaning with Rad-X flush the central heating system with clean water to help remove loose materials and debris. Then add SafeSol Rad-X is added to the central heating system at the rate of 1% which is 1 litre per 100 litres of system volume. Rax-X can be added via a pressure sprayer or a dosing pump. Once Rad-X is introduced to the system it should circulated in the systems for as long as possible but for at least 4 hours. Product performance will be improved when heated (60C is the optimum temperature) The system should then be flushed to remove Rad-X and debris. The system should then be dosed with SafeSol inhibitor Rad-Save.
As a rule of thumb the volume in domestic systems can be calculated by counting the number of single radiators (a double radiator counts as two radiators) and multiplying by 10
