Huwa-San TR-50 Air, Water and Surface Disinfectant (10 litre tub/12kg)
Huwa-San TR-50 is a commercial, multipurpose, highly effective disinfectant and biocide based on silver stabilised hydrogen peroxide that can be used for air, surface and water disinfection. It is an effective bactericide, fungicide, viricide, and algaecide. It has passed a whole range of EN tests to prove it efficacy. These are available on request.
It has been registered by Roam Technology under the Biocidal Products Regulation for product type (PT) 2-5. This includes the supply of human and animal drinking water.
Water Disinfection
Huwa-San TR-50 is designed for either shock disinfection or constant dosing of water systems. Human and animal drinking water are successfully treated using Huwa-San TR-50 constant dosing.
It has passed EN13623 and has proven efficacy at 500ppm peroxide against legionella bacteria with a contact time of 1 hour.
It has proven efficacy against Pseudomonas biofilm at 0.1% (500ppm as peroxide) within 24 hours.
The HSE have advised that silver stabilised hydrogen peroxide such as Huwa-San can be used for constant dosing.
"Silver stabilised hydrogen peroxide has a history of use in the control of Legionella in water systems. A silver hydrogen peroxide is injected directly into the water system and if applied and maintained according to the manufacturer's instructions, can be an effective means of control. However, this should not be used in water systems supplying dialysis units."

Air Disinfection/Fogging
Huwa-San is a successfully fogging disinfectant and can be used to disinfect spaces to keep them cleaner and reduce the spread of germs. It has been successfully used in factories, care homes and gyms.
A 25% solution of Huwa-San TR-50 has passed the ANFOR test for fogging in health care premises.
This test ensures that treatment achieves the following log reduction:-
Bacteria > 5
Yeast. > 4
Spores > 3
Mycobacterium > 4
Viruses > 4
Bacteriophage > 4
Surface Disinfection
A 3% solution of Huwa-San TR-50 is suitable for surface disinfection and will kill viruses, bacteria and mould.

From the 1st of Feb 2021 Regulation (EU) 2019/1148 will apply to the marketing and use of explosives precursors. This includes Huwa-San TR-50. The regulation replaces and builds upon existing legislation that covers the sale of explosive precursors. Therefore customers purchasing this product will have to provide a copy of their passport or driving license prior to purchase and confirm that they have a legitimate use for the product prior to purchase.
