Soaking
Soak showerheads or TMVs in a bucket for 1 hour. 40ml of DD1 (disinfect and descale) is required for every 1 litre of water.
Spraying
Spray shower heads, hoses and TMVs with neat product and leave for a minimum of 15 minutes

Shower Disinfectant and Descaler DD1 (750ml spray)
Product Information
SafeSol DD1 (descale and disinfect) will clean and descale showerheads, hose and thermostatic mixer valves (TMVs) in hard water areas. It is based on Huwa-San TR-3, silver stabilised hydrogen peroxide plus a small amount of mineral acid. The Huwa-San TR3 will disinfect and remove biofilm while the mineral acid in the product removes scale.
It is one of the few all-in-one products on the market which will disinfect and descale showerheads and hoses. Water hygiene operators simply add it to water and soak their showerheads.
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) recommend that shower heads and hoses are descaled at least quarterly.(HSE 274 Part 2) The frequency should be increased if the scale on your shower head builds up quicker than this. This can happen if the water in your area is particularly hard.

Low level peroxides will be shipped using next working day delivery for Mainland UK. We use a courier UK Mail for this option. Unfortunately due to the distances involved we can only offer standard delivery for the Highlands, Islands and Northern Ireland.
